Favorite Sports Stories of Grantland Rice presents sports-themed radio storytelling under the name of celebrated sportswriter Grantland Rice. The title suggests a program built around colorful tales from the world of sport, with “Crazy Over Horse Mackerel” identifying this installment.
Listeners can expect a dramatic radio presentation rather than a straightforward reading of a sports report. The episode title hints at an unusual, playful subject, while the series framing places the story within a broader collection of sports-related entertainment.
