English · Action & Adventure, Children's Fiction, Dramatic Readings

Frank Merriwell is the young hero at the center of this adventure series, whose stories draw on the tradition of school and sports fiction. The title suggests a program built around his exploits, with action and youthful challenges at its heart.

Presented as an Old Time Radio drama, the series brings its story to listeners through spoken performance rather than narration alone. Its episode title, “April Shower,” offers a brief hint of the installment’s subject, while the central appeal is following Merriwell through the situations and tests that shape his adventures.

The result is a straightforward, story-led listening experience for fans of classic radio adventure and the long-running Frank Merriwell character.
