Let George Do It
The White Elephant
von
Let George Do It follows George Valentine, a resourceful private investigator who takes on cases brought to him by people in need. With help from his capable secretary, Brooksie, George investigates mysteries, troubles, and unusual requests, often finding that a seemingly simple problem has hidden complications.
The program is a dramatic radio adventure built around a new case and George’s efforts to uncover the truth. Listeners follow the investigation through dialogue, clues, and suspenseful scenes, with George’s practical instincts and Brooksie’s steady assistance helping move the story forward.
Its appeal lies in the blend of detective work, human dilemmas, and light adventure. George is an approachable hero rather than a hard-boiled loner, giving the series a warm, accessible tone even as each case develops its share of danger and uncertainty.
