Address to the United Nations

Ronald Reagan

Addressing the United Nations for the Last Time as US President

English

Ronald Reagan addresses the United Nations in what the supplied title identifies as his final appearance before the organization as U.S. president. The recording offers a chance to hear the president speak directly to an international audience in a formal diplomatic setting.

Rather than a radio drama or narrated story, this is a public address centered on Reagan’s spoken remarks. Its appeal lies in the immediacy of the speech and the opportunity to listen to a significant moment in his presidency through his own voice.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
