This installment of The Life of Winston Churchill presents the thirty-ninth part of a fifty-two-part radio series about Churchill. Its subject is the life and public career of the British statesman, told in a serialized format.
As a dramatic radio presentation, the program uses spoken performance to bring its biographical material to listeners. This episode continues the larger account rather than standing as an unrelated story, offering a chapter in an extended portrait of Churchill.
The series is suited to listeners interested in radio biography and twentieth-century political history. Its installment-by-installment approach gives the subject room to unfold over time, with this part forming one segment of the complete sequence.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
