Information Please is a lively radio quiz program built around questions from listeners and the quick-witted answers of its expert panel. Host Clifton Fadiman guides the proceedings, keeping the conversation brisk as panelists draw on their knowledge, debate possibilities, and respond to the questions put before them.
The appeal lies as much in the exchange as in the facts: answers can lead to playful disagreement, clever wordplay, and revealing glimpses of the panelists’ personalities. The program combines the structure of a quiz with the spontaneity of an intelligent conversation, making knowledge entertaining rather than formal.
This broadcast features Boris Karloff and Warden Lewis E. Lawes among its guests. Their presence adds a distinctive mix of perspectives to the panel’s discussion, while the show’s polished, conversational style makes it an engaging listen for anyone who enjoys trivia, lively repartee, and the pleasures of a well-turned answer.
