The Clock is a dramatic anthology series that presents self-contained stories, often centered on a decisive moment when a character’s choices or circumstances come to a head. The title evokes the pressure of time, and the program’s stories draw on suspense, romance, mystery, and human drama.
Each broadcast unfolds as a radio play, using dialogue, narration, music, and sound effects to bring its story to life. Rather than following a continuing cast, the anthology format offers a new situation and characters from one episode to the next.
The result is an intimate, atmospheric listening experience, with the tension of a turning point carried through performance and sound. This recording is identified with Eddie.
