Dr. Sixgun
Horse's Mane Is Murder Clue
por
Dr. Sixgun is a Western radio drama centered on Dr. Bart McClelland, a physician who serves the people of the frontier town of Dos Rios. His medical work brings him into contact with the injuries, dangers, and conflicts of life in the Old West, where healing often goes hand in hand with confronting trouble.
The program combines frontier adventure with the concerns of a small community. Dr. McClelland’s role as a doctor gives the stories a distinctive perspective: alongside the action and suspense of Western life, they focus on people in need of care and the choices that arise when violence or hardship reaches town.
With its blend of medical drama and Western atmosphere, Dr. Sixgun offers a different kind of frontier hero. This recording is identified as “Horse's Mane Is Murder Clue,” a title that suggests a mystery at the heart of the episode.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
