Inner Sanctum

Make Ready My Grave

English · Radio

Inner Sanctum Mysteries is a suspense anthology introduced by the sardonic host known as Raymond, whose macabre humor sets the stage for tales of murder, secrets, and the uncanny. Each broadcast presents a different story, drawing listeners into a world where ordinary lives can take a sinister turn.

Raymond’s opening and closing remarks frame the drama with a playful, chilling sensibility, while actors bring the stories to life through dialogue, sound effects, and atmospheric music. The anthology format means each tale stands on its own, with suspense built through revelations, uneasy encounters, and the threat of danger.

The result blends mystery and horror with a wink: eerie enough to unsettle, but knowingly theatrical rather than relentlessly grim. Its distinctive host and shadowy sound make the program a classic choice for listeners who enjoy vintage radio suspense.
