Information Please is a radio quiz program built around questions from listeners and the lively exchanges of its expert panel. Host Clifton Fadiman guides the discussion, while panelists draw on their knowledge of literature, history, science, and the arts to tackle questions that can be as challenging as they are entertaining.
The pleasure comes not only from hearing answers, but from watching the panel reason them out aloud. Fadiman keeps the conversation moving with a light touch, and the panelists bring wit, curiosity, and friendly competition to the proceedings. The program makes learning feel like a spirited conversation rather than a lecture.
This recording features Marc Connelly, the playwright and humorist, as a guest. The result is an engaging blend of quiz-show challenge and polished radio conversation, suited to listeners who enjoy clever questions, quick thinking, and the personalities behind the answers.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
