The Zane Grey Theater
Last of the Duanes
Part 7 of 12
von
The Zane Grey Theater brings the Western stories of author Zane Grey to radio in dramatic form. Its frontier settings frame tales of people facing danger, difficult choices, and the demands of life in the American West.
The program presents self-contained dramatic stories, with dialogue and performance carrying the action rather than a single narrator. The collection identifies this installment as part seven of a twelve-part presentation of Last of the Duanes.
Expect a Western atmosphere shaped by conflict, suspense, and questions of loyalty and justice. The series offers a straightforward way to hear Grey’s frontier storytelling adapted for radio, with the immediacy of a cast bringing the scenes and characters to life.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
