The Witch's Tale
Graveyard Mansion
von
The Witch's Tale is an early horror radio series presented by Old Nancy, a mysterious storyteller who introduces tales of the uncanny and supernatural. Her eerie narration frames stories of haunted places, restless spirits, and people drawn into unsettling encounters.
The program blends spoken storytelling with dramatic radio performance, using voices, dialogue, and sound effects to bring its frightening situations to life. Episodes offer self-contained tales, with Old Nancy serving as the guide into each story and returning to close the circle around its strange events.
Its atmosphere is intimate and shadowy rather than action-driven: the pleasure lies in the slow build of suspense, the supernatural premise, and the distinctive presence of its storyteller. This episode is titled “Graveyard Mansion.”
