Beulah

Beulah Finds a Wedding Ring

English · Radio, Humor

Beulah is a domestic comedy centered on Beulah, a warm-hearted Black housekeeper whose work in the Henderson household brings her into the family’s everyday affairs. Her observations and well-meaning interventions make her more than a background presence: she is the lively center of the show.

The radio program follows Beulah as she navigates household mishaps, family concerns, and the small complications of daily life. Episodes use dialogue and comic situations to bring the Hendersons and their household into focus, with Beulah’s perspective driving the action.

The series blends domestic humor with an affectionate portrait of family life. Its appeal lies in Beulah’s spirited personality and the way ordinary problems become opportunities for comedy and connection.
