The Lone Ranger
The Moves
von
The Lone Ranger follows a masked Texas Ranger who rides across the American West with his trusted companion, Tonto. After surviving an ambush that leaves him the sole survivor of his ranger patrol, he takes up the fight for justice while concealing his identity behind a black mask.
The radio adventures combine action, mystery, and frontier drama. The Lone Ranger and Tonto encounter danger and injustice on the trail, relying on courage, resourcefulness, and their partnership to help people in trouble. The program’s sound effects and music bring its horseback pursuits and Western settings to life.
Earnest and fast-moving, the series presents a clear contest between right and wrong, with the Lone Ranger’s resolve and Tonto’s loyalty at its heart. Its familiar musical signature and dramatic storytelling make it a classic example of the adventure serial on radio.
