We Want to Sing
by
Tales of the Texas Rangers is a Western radio drama centered on the work of the Texas Rangers, the lawmen who investigate crimes across the state. The series follows Ranger Jace Pearson and his partner, bringing listeners into cases shaped by the people, places, and challenges of Texas.
Episodes combine dramatic storytelling with the investigative details of a crime case. Ranger work provides the framework for stories involving pursuit, evidence, and encounters with suspects and witnesses, set against a broad Western landscape. The program’s title reflects its focus on the Rangers and the cases they handle.
The result is a straightforward blend of crime drama and Western adventure, with law enforcement at its center. Its appeal lies in hearing a case unfold through the Rangers’ work and in the series’ distinctive focus on the Texas frontier and its communities.
