This 1914 issue of Poetry: A Magazine of Verse brings together poems by Ezra Pound and other writers, alongside a review by the magazine’s founder, Harriet Monroe.

Founded in 1912, the journal offered readers a regular gathering place for poetry and discussion of the art. This issue reflects that mix of creative work and criticism, making it a snapshot of the magazine’s early years.

Rather than a single continuous story, the audiobook is a collection to dip into: a fit for listeners interested in poetry, literary periodicals, and the range of voices published in the early twentieth century.
