Wagner Die Meistersinger Von Nürnberg

Leído por Martin Handley

Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg is a delightful epic comedy conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano. The story follows Walther, who wishes to marry Eva, but must first win a song contest held by the local guild of mastersingers. His unconventional approach to songwriting challenges the established rules, but the wise Hans Sachs is there to guide him in both music and love.

Bryn Terfel takes on the role of Hans Sachs, with Gwyn Hughes Jones as Walther and Rachel Willis Sorensen as Eva. The performance features a talented cast, including Hanna Hipp, Allan Clayton, and Stephen Milling, among others, supported by the Chorus and Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
