Keys by Brendan Tiernan takes you back to North County Dublin in 1979, just before the Papal visit. A man reads a newspaper article that stirs his memory, recalling his final year of national school and the responsibility he is tasked with, which he doesn't want. As the play unfolds, he is challenged to change.
The characters are brought to life by a talented cast, including Liam Carney as Jemmy Tiernan, Ian O’Reilly as the Boy, Aileen Mythen as Ms. Butler, Caitriona Ennis as Lorna, Rob Malone as Daithi, Declan Brennan as Fr. Crowley, Seána Kerslake as Audrey, and Cameron Simpson as Bobby. The production is directed by Gorretti Slavin and produced by Kevin Reynolds.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
