The Unquenchable Thirst Of Dracula
Gelesen von Michael Sheen
Dracula travels to 1930's India in this celebrated unproduced Hammer Horror feature film script, part of the ongoing BBC Radio 4 Unmade Movies series and 2017's Fright Night. It's 1932 and Penny, a young British woman, travels secretly and alone by train through the heart of India, in search of her sister who has recently disappeared.
In her first class carriage, she meets Prem and Lakshmi, a brother and sister performing duo who have been hired for one night by a Maharajah. As they are taken to the sinister residence of the Maharajah and his wife, the Rani, they are asked to perform that night for a special guest, Count Dracula. Meanwhile, Penny discovers a hidden cavern beneath the Maharajah's Palace, leading to a race against time to uncover the truth about her sister's fate.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.

To name just 3 decisive features for the quality of this little audio drama: Director: Mark Gatiss Narrator: Martin Sheen first produced for: BBC 4 Not to forget the beautiful cast, whos members not just read, but brought even the smallest role to life! I must admit to being a fan of Mark Gatiss and many of his works! And like him I do have an unquenchable thirst for a good horror story. And right now "my thirst" has been satisfied.
