A Time To Dance is an afternoon drama that first aired on October 10, 2011, on BBC Radio 4 FM. This compelling piece was written by Julian Simpson and is based on an original idea by Anita Sullivan.

The story is set in July 1518, when a terrifying and mysterious plague struck the medieval city of Strasbourg. As the epidemic subsided, many lives were claimed by heat and exhaustion, leaving thousands bewildered and bereaved. The narrative raises the question: Is it happening again?

The production features a talented cast including Robin Lustig, Jim Libby, Jana Carpenter, Tom Salinsky, Deborah Frances White, Matt Banister, Jessica Pidsley, and Jessica Regan. It was produced by Karen Rose as a Sweet Talk Production for BBC Radio 4.
