British Sci-Fi Shows - 13 - Aliens In The Mind
Robert Holmes y Rene Bascilico
British Sci-Fi Shows No 13, Aliens of the Mind, started life as an outline for TV’s Doctor Who by the show’s script editor Robert Holmes. Although not commissioned for the show, Holmes was asked to develop the idea for Radio 4. However, work commitments meant that the scripts were ultimately written by Rene Bascilico based on Holmes’ original idea.
The six-part drama centres around the discovery, on a remote Scottish island, of a community of ‘human mutants’ capable of telepathy. A plan is in place to use them to control the British Government, and friends Curtis Lark (Vincent Price) and Hugh Baxter (Peter Cushing) join forces to combat them. This production was produced in 1976.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.

A VERY worthwhile listen!

I loved it!! Very well written (hey a major writer for Doctor Who did the script), acted (Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, need I say more?), and produced, with excellent music, sound effects, special effects. And a unique story. I have NO idea why that bizarre illustration is shown here...it bears no resemblance to anything in the drama.
Wonderful
