Dagboek van een Herdershond is a Dutch television series directed by Willy van Hemert. The story follows the young and naive chaplain Erik Odekerke, who is placed in a Limburg municipality. His social awareness and shyness contrast sharply with his boss, Pastor Bonhomme, who is conservative and enjoys life. Odekerke often finds himself at odds with the local population due to his naivety, but he is supported by his guardian angel and his friend Lumens.

The series was a tremendous success and was broadcast in countries including Germany, Finland, and South America. It features a notable cast, including Jo De Meyere as Chaplain Erik Odekerke and Kees Brusse as the voice of the guardian angel.
