The Jack Benny Program
Lady Millicent's Husband
von
Jack Benny appears as his own guest star, arriving to be interviewed by announcer Don Wilson. He explains that he had been at Phil's opening on Tuesday and did not get a chance to say anything there. Andy Devine also drops in to talk about his experience at the opening.
The cast then performs Lady Millicent's Husband, with Jack playing the title role. The program combines studio conversation and guest appearances with a comic play, giving listeners both the personalities of the performers and a staged story in one broadcast.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
