Houseboat Hannah was a syndicated soap opera sponsored by Proctor & Gamble's "Lava Soap" Cleanser. This short-lived continuing drama aired on the NBC Red Network, featuring 15-minute episodes from Monday through Friday.
Debuting on September 26, 1938, the series captured the hearts of listeners until its final episode in mid-1941. The theme song, "Laugh Your Way Through Life," was written by Harry Revel and Mack Gordo.
