EXCELLENT OTR !

The "Crime Club" is one of those truly neat Golden Age Shows that often blends comedy with the mystery. All of these Episodes are clean with great audio quality, and this is a short-run Series that should have lasted longer: Good plots, good Intros & Outros from the "Librarian" (who is PERFECT by the way !),good music bridges, good casts. Many of the shows such as "Murder Makes A Mummy", "A Deed Indeed", and, "Fish For Entree" add a dash of "Mr. & Mrs. North" or "The Thin Man" comedy with the mystery...with a male-female pairing that works very well. Enjoy these Episodes ! They're among the "best" of the "short run" Series of OTR programs that were produced !!

Great program!

This is a great program, but why is it when you try to download these, there aren't any titles, just The_Crime_Club_461202_ep01.mp3? The names of the programs show up on the first page with the reviews and synopsis of the show. Anyway, for the most part, these are stand alone stories, different characters and different locations, but there are a few with a Sgt. Cassidy, complete with Irish brogue, who appears in several episodes.

Relax with a good book.

I enjoy murder mysteries and this series hooked me on the Crime Club books. Mildly simplistic but well done and pleasent entries make this a great choice for folks who enjoy the world of OTR.
