About the LibriVox App
I started building the LibriVox App in 2012 while learning Android development.
What began as a small project gradually grew into something much larger. Today, millions of people use it to discover and listen to public domain audiobooks.
The app focuses on making these books easy to find, organize, and play, whether you're browsing by author, exploring genres, or picking up where you left off.
Independent Development
It's still independently developed and maintained, with help from my wife and a few others along the way.
About the Recordings
The LibriVox App is not affiliated with the LibriVox project. All recordings are created by volunteers and released into the public domain.

The app is supported by ads and optional purchases, which help cover development, hosting, and ongoing improvements.
