Alka-Seltzer Time (also known as The Alka-Seltzer Show) was a 15-minute radio series that aired weekdays on both CBS Radio and the Mutual Broadcasting System. The show began in 1949 and featured baritone Curt Massey along with Martha Tilton. Initially titled The Curt Massey Show, it was later renamed to highlight its sponsor, Alka-Seltzer, in 1952.

The series was known for its informal song sessions, with Massey and Tilton performing alongside Country Washburne and His Orchestra. They sang a variety of songs, including "Honey, I'm in Love with You" and "Istanbul, Not Constantinople." The show also included themed episodes, such as "Go West" and "Salute to Hawaii." Massey and Tilton continued to collaborate on various shows throughout the late 1950s.

The magic of melody

This series of short little shows is excellent and a reminder that there was a kinder and much more pleasant world before the 1960s. Every song is a winner and the show is presented in a most affable and cordial way.

WONDERFUL!

Thanks for making this available .... a real blast from the past! At age 11, I looked forward to this daily (M-F) show. Until now, I never knew what they looked like. They were a great couple, indeed! Check them out on Wikipedia!
