OTR Family Night

OTR Family Night features ten shows programmed for about six hours of continuous entertainment. The first three hours, from six to nine PM, include sci-fi, adventure, comedy, and music aimed at kids and adults who enjoy light programming. The subsequent three hours delve into more mature themes of horror, wry humor, and mystery.

All files have been enhanced with reduced background noise and adjusted volume. Notable segments include the Jack Benny program from February 11, 1933, and the Grand Ole Opry featuring Patsy Cline from June 16, 1956. Other highlights are the Lux Theater's October 28, 1940, performance of 'Strike Up The Band' starring Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, and the CBS Radio Mystery Theater's 'The Last Orbit' from January 8, 1982.
