In "The Twisted Image," two police officers uncover a shocking crime when they find the body of a local businessman's wife in the boot of his Rolls-Royce. The car was reported stolen from outside his shop, and the case seems straightforward—until they realize that the new town centre where the crime took place won't be built for another five years.

This gripping drama features performances by Douglas Blackwell as Det-Insp Simmonds, Peter Wickham as Det-Sgt Colt, and Joan Matheson as Mrs. Francis, among others. The production is directed by Margaret Etall and was first broadcast on April 21, 1977, at 15:05 on BBC Radio 4 FM.
