A well read collection. I especially enjoy the occassional inclusion of the poetical text.

this story always reminds me of the goodness of God and how even a king can be a servant to God.

Brilliant, never could complete this story when I had the book, but the speaker is quite good and makes the effort interesting

(3 stars)

Nice to have all the stories together in this way. Rather a mechanical reading with some phonetic mispronunciations.

was good to hear the actual story that many films etc are based

Great

Very honorable and noble Heroes. Great and humorous chapters tell individual events loosely link to form the whole. I love when the queen gives all the men Toledo steel to defend the women and children. Also when Richard the lionheart returns and Robin and all his Men bow low and prostrate themselves before the mighty king. Plus, they all just loved to fight for the sake of fighting itself and I like that too! this is absolutely one of my favorite books and the reader does a great job too.

I loved listening to this book .👍

Altogether Charming

A beautiful rendition of the traditional legends of Robin Hood, written in a graceful prose appropriate to the characters' placement in medieval history. The reader is forgiven a few mispronunciations of archaic expressions, but otherwise delivers a clear and lively narration.
