In his Commentary on St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians, Martin Luther offers a detailed verse-by-verse analysis of one of the New Testament's most significant letters. Written in the early 16th century, this work reflects Luther's theological insights and his commitment to elucidating the core messages of Christianity.

Originally penned in Latin, Luther's commentary was extensive, but this translation by Theodore Graebner makes it accessible to a broader English-speaking audience. The text delves into themes of faith, grace, and the nature of Christian freedom, providing listeners with a rich understanding of the Apostle Paul's teachings.

As a pivotal figure in the Reformation, Luther's interpretations challenge and inspire, making this commentary not just a theological study but also a historical document that sheds light on the religious debates of his time. Whether you are a scholar or simply curious about Christian doctrine, this audiobook invites you to explore the depths of Galatians through Luther's profound insights.

One reader for the entire commentary would have been better than multiple readers. I particularly enjoyed the chapters read by Bill Mosley.

John Bunyan sent me here

(5 stars)

John Bunyan mentions Luther’s commentary on Galatians in the book “Grace Abounding To the Chief of Sinners” as the second most important or profitable book next to the Bible that he read, and that means a lot coming from a man who didn’t delve into many books apart from the Bible. We need this teaching at the forefront of our Christian walk always. How many of us go through that phase of our Christian life when we try to live holy in our own strength even after being born again. All our failures and headache’s stem from us going down that road. This book can help you get off that road and into the true life of peace and victory in Christ. If you want this same information put through the filter of John Bunyan’s mind read “The doctrine of law and grace unfolded” If you want a more modern take on our death to the law and alive in Christ to walk in the spirit read “The Normal Christian Life” by Watchman Nee.
