Hollywood Byline - 5 Episodes of the Old Time Radio Series

This upload contains 5 episodes of the Old Time Radio show, Hollywood Byline. The show featured interviews of Hollywood stars by a panel of news reporters. The beginning of the program focused on questions from the panel, and the show closed with the guest star getting to ask questions of the panelists.

All five episodes attached here are unedited recordings and not the actual broadcast versions, so they contain comments from the director, repeat questions, and discussions about how to proceed in the interview. It is unfortunate that additional episodes of this show do not appear to have survived, since they do provide candid and frank discussions with the stars, including questions of a personal nature.

While I tried to put together a collection that contains the best version of each episode that I could, there may be better copies of some recordings available from collectors and dealers. We OTR enthusiasts owe a huge debt to those who have worked tirelessly to discover, acquire and preserve these recordings.
