From Different Standpoints

How differently people view life, society, and religion, depending on their perspective! Perry, the often sick young man that is learning to follow his Master; Eunice (Una), as close as a sister to Perry but not a Christian; Eleanor, the selfish socialite; and Tom, Eleanor's earnestly Christian brother, form the core of this story of life, love, marriage, and service. Lord of our love

(5 stars)

A very important lesson is taught in this book. Just as Jesus will be Lord of every other area of our lives, if we let Him, so He will be Lord of our love, if we let Him. So if you love romantically, wrongly, you can let Him change that love, and He will.

Thank You And God Bless You Tricia

As a combat veteran (US Army) I can truly say that I have been able to suffer a great deal from what I have seen and felt because of the grace of Christ. There are about 22 veterans who commit suicide every day and I would never judge them or anyone for that is one of the principles of my faith. But I can testify to the horrors of war and the survivors' guilt, etc. that could easily lead anyone to that end. But I know that if it were not for the fact that I was brought up poor and of Christian parents I may well have been one of them. But my faith continues to sustain me. I did not know any better way of telling you, Tricia that your wonderful reading of this (and many other books) makes my heart go out to you and to all of Librivox who read their books. You have a wonderful gift of reading which, with your sweet voice, has a way of helping me come closer to my Savior. This was a great little book and God bless you for giving the gift of your gift to me and many others. God Bless you again.

Another Gem

Great story. Revelation of God's unfailing love toward the least deserving His compassion.
