Letters from a Farmer in Pennsylvania is a series of essays written by the Pennsylvania lawyer and legislator John Dickinson (1732–1808) and published under the name "A Farmer" from 1767 to 1768. The twelve letters were widely read and reprinted throughout the thirteen colonies and were important in uniting the colonists against the Townshend Acts. (Wikipedia) (3 hr 25 min)

superbly written and narrated

These 12 letters were written pre revolutionary war. The author, a farmer in Pennsylvania, articulately writes to England and colonists the encroaching taxation on colonies. As a person from Pennsylvania, who has no ties, no relations born outside American. I'm so happy to hear that 300 years ago there were also long lines of Americans born in the colonies and had never been anywhere else but Pennsylvania for generations. I'm proud to be born from colonists who live on this soil since 1500's.
