Reviews
Fine novel
Dennis Murray
A compelling tale of ambition, love and tragedy. The fine writing brings the lives and conflicts of the village into sharp focus. The tension really ramps up in the final chapters, and the message in the last chapter is as true today as ever. Another superb reading by Availle.

I love this story. Especially on cold, foggy winter nights. A tale of old about hard working people, with some superstition and horror sprinkled in... what's not to like?
Riveting Story

This is an excellent story and the reader is wonderful. I listened to this to the bitter end. Good tale.
