The Golden Goose Book (version 2)
L. Leslie Brooke
Read by Phil Chenevert
Here are four delightful fairy tales that have fascinated children and adults for centuries. Several, such as The Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs are well known and can be listened to with delight as each remembered and beloved part is come to. Others, such as The Golden Goose and Tom Thumb are not so well known and listening to them can be exciting because we do not know exactly what is to come as the story unfolds. Reviews
A bit disappointing
Janelle
I guess I'm disappointed a little because I was expecting "fractured" fairy tales. These turned out to be standard tales for their time. That's fine for anyone who likes fairy tales, but they aren't really my thing. The narrator was terrific though.
A Good Listen
Donald Gilmore
I listened to this little book while I was cutting my front yard. I've always liked Phill's voice and reading style. I wish I could do as well as he does.
