John Wesley, along with his brother Charles, are credited with founding the Methodist denomination. "The following Sermons contain the substance of what I have been preaching for between eight and nine years last past. Every serious man who peruses these, will therefore see, in the clearest manner, what these doctrines are which I embrace and teach as the essentials of true religion." Thank you to all the readers from around the Anglophonic world for you part in making this available. Wesley like Luther was more a pastoral practitioner than a systematic thinker; where some theology might fall short the practical intention resonates so that the main thrust, God's grace alone bringing salvation, and alone bearing the fruits of a mighty faith, cannot be subverted or avoided or confused.
