While this was not one of my favorites, I did still enjoy it. In some ways I feel the multiple people required to figure out plans was more realistic than other stories where the Henty hero seems to figure out everything itself. So that added to the story. My only complaint with the readers was that the male reader should have perhaps spent a bit of time learning pronunciations of the French names, as that was rather distracting.
another good Henty

an exciting story. only one quibble ~ why narrate a book set in France if you can't pronounce French? the male reader should do a bit of research before narrating anything else set in France

Henty struggled a bit on this one, but it is well worth reading. When Harry and the girls were attempting to escape Paris I kept waiting for the Scarlet Pimpernel to appear and help.
Great book!!!
