The old space freighter Wahoo is all Dr. Pietro can afford for his expedition to the rings of Saturn. Although built for a crew of 6 the good doctor crams 19 people into the Wahoo, and after 5 months they are really getting on each other’s nerves. Then someone starts killing people and poisoning the air giving plants in the hydroponics bay. Can our hero Paul Tremaine find the killer before he suffocates? Short story but good!

The summary pretty much covers the plot so I won't give anything extra away. This is a neat quick story, I have listened to it 2x. Lester del Rey is a great scifi writer. I am always looking for more of his books. Gregg M is a fine reader, his voice is always easy to follow and his recordings are clean. Thanks Gregg!

I’d not felt tempted to listen to this one as the synopsis didn’t appeal to me but one of the reviews caught my eye so I gave it a listen and I’m glad I did. It’s a nicely crafted tale, I enjoyed it. It’s well paced with lots of interesting action and decent characters

This is a straight forward sci-fi story. It builds a very nice tension throughout and (for a somewhat simple story) juggles a number of complex issues like voluntary euthanasia and paranoia. Greg gives another stellar reading which propels this story to another level.

A great little sci-fi short that gradually builds the suspense to a fine conclusion.Very entertaining, and performed by the excellent (late) Greg Margarite. Rest in peace Greg, your talent is missed.

I love 50s sci-fi. When a tape player is cutting edge technology on a space ship, how can you not smile. And the mystery had me guessing until the end.
