The velveteen rabbit has been a book I've cherished a many of year, but I felt that the narrator didn't do it justice. The words are clear and well spoken, but I felt that her voice was a bit awkward and unemotional, as if this is the first time she's heard it to.

I appreciate that the child was included as a narrator in this story. For her age, she did an excellent job. Her diction was clear and voice engaging. It’s the perfect story to have a child read.

I love the story, and the narrator is a good reader. I was challenged to listen to her voice, which is uncomfortably pitched and a bit reedy.
