Oh My TOOO funny!

(5 stars)

This is a compilation of short stories about golf and its many facets. Or sort of. It follows the standard Wodehouse humor while telling a great story. I laughed out loud plenty of times, and found myself telling all my co-workers who I know are golfers about it. The stories are not connected; each tells its own tale, but the common theme is golf. The readers are varied, a few chapters are loud, but the book is wonderful. Enjoy! Update - 9/9/2014 - It's been four years since I listened to this, so I decided to listen to it again. It is hilarious as ever. The treatment of golf in the final chapter is a riot! Even non-golfers will love this.

SAVED THE BEST UNTIL THE LAST

A delightful collection of stories that can only be truly appreciated by one who has been bitten by the bug or who at least knows spmeone who has. The stories are not the side shattering laughable types usually associated with Wodehouse, except for the last one. So, go worship with the rites of Gowf and enjoy.

cute for those who love golf

I don't understand golf, so I'm sure I lost some of the hilarity in the story, but it was still a fun listen. Great reader! !!

It Helps If You Golf

A lot of golf terminology: century old UK terminology at that! Although I'm sure I'm missing some fine jokes, I enjoyed it. Excellent narration, too.

Fun to listen to ,but a par, or is the amount you have on any given hole, not bogey.
