The End of a Wonderful Series Read by Karen Savage
Michaela Baswell Bennett
I have truly enjoyed listening to the Anne of Green Gables series, especially read by Karen Savage! The whole series has been made even more delightful by Karen's skillful reading. Both her inflections and her variation of "voices" brought every little humorous, dramatic, or solemn moment to the surface. I am grateful that she volunteered so much time to read and record this lovely series so I could listen to it while I worked.
poignant and sweet

So funny and touching at the same time! Karen Savage is such an incredibly amazing reader and does all the flawless voices! This story is about a young Canadian girl's teens during World War One and the love and heartbreak she encounters. Also, it is so wonderful to get a glimpse of Anne and Gilbert when they are older. All in all, it was throughly good book.
A wonderful conclusion to a timeless masterpiece of a series

Lucy MM does not disappoint, and Karen's reading is more excellent than ever. Thank you Lucy and Karen for this amazing gift to the world. This book is sweet and sad. Hopeful and despairing. But above all, it shows us the joy, strength and wonderfulness of humans especially in the most trying of times. A timeless masterpiece.
Amusing yet sensitive and insightful WW1 home front tale.

A story of the Canadian home front during WW1. The last of the Anne of Green Gables series from the perspective of her daughter, Rilla. Very well read by Karen Savage.

This book is amazing. I love how every thought carried the story. My favorite part was when Gem came back and Dog Monday was there to greet him. The ready, Karen Savage was amazing. I LOVED how she emphasized every word and how her accent sounded just like how I imagined each character would speak. She sounded as if she had just stepped out of 1915. I loved how there was always a new twist and I never knew what to expect. I would recommend this book to anyone. Definitely a ten out of ten read and would for sure read it again.
very good book
Crazy Cat Lady
This is a book with much feeling and sentiment in it. It has heartache, laughter death and humour. I very much enjoyed reading it but I wish the end had more elaboration, especially on what happened to rolls as she grew up with her lover. But apparat from that I find no other fault. I bring a cat lover found the dr jeckel and met Hyde cat episodes very amusing, I did feel bad at the end though. I would totally recommend this book.
