Screen Guild Theater
None Shall Part Us
par
Screen Guild Theater brings Hollywood performers to radio in dramatic adaptations of popular films and other stories. The program was produced by the Screen Actors Guild, with proceeds supporting the Guild’s charitable work. Its changing casts draw on the voices and personalities of well-known film actors, giving each broadcast the feel of a compact radio play.
Episodes present self-contained dramas across a range of genres, including romance, comedy, mystery, and adventure. Rather than following a continuing cast or storyline, the series offers a new story and ensemble from one broadcast to the next. This recording features None Shall Part Us.
The appeal lies in hearing screen performers work in an intimate audio setting, where dialogue, music, and sound effects carry the story. The result is a polished, theatrical showcase that pairs familiar Hollywood talent with the immediacy of live-style radio drama.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
