The Saint
The Carnival Murder
par
Simon Templar, known as the Saint, is a debonair adventurer and amateur sleuth whose charm and quick wit are matched by a readiness to take on criminals and injustice. In this radio series, he moves through a world of mysteries and dangerous encounters, relying on observation, nerve, and a talent for getting under the skin of those he pursues.
The program blends detective storytelling with action and suspense, following Templar as he investigates trouble and outmaneuvers his opponents. Leslie Charteris created the character, and Vincent Price is closely associated with the American radio portrayal of the Saint.
With its urbane hero and brisk, suspenseful atmosphere, The Saint offers classic adventure-mystery listening, balancing intrigue with the pleasure of a resourceful protagonist who is always ready to turn the tables.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
