Tales of the Texas Rangers
Cold Blood
by
Tales of the Texas Rangers brings the work of the Texas Rangers to radio in a blend of Western adventure and crime drama. Each story follows lawmen investigating cases across Texas, where tracking a suspect or uncovering the truth can call for patience, observation, and courage as much as action.
The program combines dramatic scenes with the procedural details of an investigation. Ranger characters question witnesses, follow clues, and confront the dangers of enforcing the law in a vast and often rugged landscape. Its stories draw on the traditions of the Western while presenting the Rangers as professional investigators.
The result is a direct, atmospheric radio drama, with suspense shaped by the unfolding case and the distinctive setting of Texas. It offers listeners a mix of frontier action and detective-style problem solving.
