Hollywood Star Time
Swamp Water
by
Hollywood Star Time is a dramatic radio anthology presenting stories adapted from films and other screen material. Each broadcast offers a self-contained performance, with actors bringing a cinematic story to life through dialogue, narration, and sound.
The title “Swamp Water” identifies this program’s featured story. The series’ anthology format makes it a way to hear a screen tale reshaped for radio, where voices and audio atmosphere carry the action without the visual images of a film.
Its appeal lies in the blend of Hollywood storytelling and radio drama: a focused, theatrical listening experience built around a featured story and performed for the microphone.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
