The Shadow
Death in a Minor Key
by
The Shadow follows Lamont Cranston, a wealthy man of mystery who uses his ability to cloud men’s minds to fight crime. With the help of Margo Lane, he investigates dangerous schemes and confronts criminals who believe they can act beyond the reach of the law.
Each broadcast presents a self-contained mystery, unfolding through dialogue, sound effects, and a dramatic cast. The stories move between investigation and suspense, as clues emerge and Cranston’s unusual power gives him an advantage over those who threaten the innocent.
The series blends crime adventure with a shadowy, supernatural edge. Its atmospheric narration and signature warning that “the weed of crime bears bitter fruit” frame a world of hidden identities, peril, and justice delivered from the darkness.
