The American Melody Hour
Think on Me and Glee Club Classics
par
The American Melody Hour is a musical radio program centered on popular songs and vocal performances. This recording’s title points to “Think on Me” and a selection of glee club classics, offering a program shaped around melody and ensemble singing.
Listeners can expect a song-focused broadcast rather than a spoken drama: the appeal lies in hearing familiar musical forms presented in a radio performance, with the contrast between a featured song and group vocal material giving the program its character.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
