Following a professional call in the home of an old friend, Dr. Joseph Kane is found dead beneath the window of the room he had occupied. Thereafter follows a maze of clues, the most important of which is a dancing silhouette, until Thorne, the famous detective, threads his way thru them all and finds the solution.
