Hopalong Cassidy

The Killer in Black

English · Western, Dramatic Readings, Action & Adventure

Hopalong Cassidy brings the Western adventures of the famed cowboy to radio. The stories center on Hoppy, a steady, principled rider whose sense of justice guides him through the dangers and disputes of the frontier.

Presented as a dramatic radio Western, the program uses dialogue, sound effects, and music to create its open-range setting. Its adventures draw on familiar Western situations, including conflicts that call for courage, quick judgment, and a willingness to stand up for others.

The result is a straightforward, family-friendly blend of action and moral clarity, with a confident hero at its center. Listeners can settle into a classic cowboy adventure shaped for the imagination, where the sounds of the trail and the drama of a Western encounter carry the story.
